The first TeamScribe Update has arrived - find out whats new
Welcome to your first update to TeamScribe: All the output options
Well, maybe not all... but two good ones! 😎
The first-ever update to TeamScribe is here, and it’s bringing you more ways to receive your meeting summaries. With version 1.1, you can now get your meeting insights delivered straight to your email or Slack—because let’s be honest, we all have a preferred way to procrastinate on reviewing our meeting notes.
Let’s take a look at what’s new
✉️ Email Delivery: Your Inbox, Your Rules
If you’re someone who likes to keep things neat, searchable, and easily forwardable, email delivery is for you. With TeamScribe’s new email integration, your meeting summaries will land right in your inbox, making it easy to track action points, share with colleagues, or just stare at them while sipping coffee, pretending you’re super organized.
How It Works
Once your meeting wraps up and TeamScribe does its magic, a structured summary is generated and emailed to the right people. You have full control over:
✔️ Who receives the email (Meeting organizer, a default mailbox, or a distribution list)
✔️ How the notes are formatted (Inline in the email body or attached as a beautifully formatted document)
✔️ CC/BCC options (Because sometimes, people need to be in the loop… or just look busy)
Why Email?
- Super searchable – Find your meeting notes instantly in your inbox.
- Effortless organization – Move them to folders, flag important ones, or ignore them completely (we don’t judge).
- Easy sharing – Forward to colleagues who “totally meant to attend but had a thing.”
💬 Slack Integration: Meeting Notes Without Leaving Your Chat Flow
For the Slack power users out there, TeamScribe now delivers meeting summaries directly into Slack. Because if you're already living in Slack, why not keep your meeting notes there too?
How It Works
Once your meeting ends, TeamScribe will post the summary to Slack based on your preferences:
✔️ Private DM to the meeting organizer – Get your notes discreetly and decide if they should be shared.
✔️ Posted to a Slack channel – Share meeting insights with your team automatically, so nobody ever has to ask, “What did we decide again?”
Why Slack?
- Real-time updates – Get meeting summaries instantly without digging through emails.
- Seamless collaboration – Discuss notes, tag team members, and assign tasks all within Slack.
- Reduced inbox clutter – Because we all get enough emails already, right?
